SUPPLEMENTS THAT HELP:
Magnesium: A deficiency in magnesium can contribute to headaches. If you have frequent headaches , I suggest you get your magnesium levels checked out . If levels are low , the right magnesium and dosage
Riboflavin ( Vitamin B2) : Some studies show that it helps reduce frequency of migraine attacks
Vitamins B1, B2 and B12, have been found to reduce frequency and severity of migraine attacks .
Vitamin D as D3 : Deficiency and insufficiency have been linked to frequent headaches and migraines in sufferers
Omega 3 fatty acids : A diet rich in Fatty acids has been found to reduce frequency of headaches
CoenzymeQ10 also reduces frequency of headaches like vitamin B2
LIFESTYLE CHANGES INCLUDE :
Remove MSG ( an excitotoxin found in cooking cubes like Maggi ) from diet if you suffer from frequent headaches . I have totally removed MSG from my diet
Avoid foods that contain or are high in food additives
Find out foods that trigger headaches and avoid them eg cheese and chocolate
Avoiding getting hypoglycaemic ( low blood sugar levels ) as this can trigger headache’s. -Skipping meals or fasting can trigger headaches . This happens to me sometimes
Limit screen time as this can strain the eyes and lead to headaches
Endure there’s proper lighting especially when at work as this can cause a strain leading to headaches
Avoid too much noise. When I am exposed to music or loud noise , it sometimes triggers headaches
Check your blood pressure as frequent headaches may be a symptom of high blood pressure
Headaches that are frequent may also be a sign of an underlying disease . Speak to your doctor
