Our muscles need to be exercise regularly .
For example , have you noticed how muscles of people on wheel chairs or those who are bed-ridden become weak and loss of muscle ? That’s because sitting for extended periods can also cause our muscles to weaken and degenerate. When we sit, our core muscles, glutes, and leg muscles are not engaged, leading to a loss of strength and potentially causing imbalances in our bodies.

The dreaded C-Word. Believe it or not , studies have shown a link between prolonged sitting and an increased risk of certain kinds of cancer, such as colon, lung, and endometrial cancer. Although the exact reasons for this are not yet fully understood, it is believed that the decrease in physical activity and increased insulin resistance associated with sitting may contribute to the development of cancer.

  1. 𝑰𝒏𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 π‘©π’†π’π’π’š 𝑭𝒂𝒕

It can slow down metabolism and cause insulin resistance especially if the diet is high in refined carbs and processed foods which can play a key role in increased belly or visceral fat . Belly fat can lead to other chronic diseases

Looking at the 5 consequences I’ve shared , I believe it’s imperative we take the right steps to turn this around
