Let’s talk about Grounding or Earthing

Do you know what grounding is all about?

Just in case you are unaware, itโ€™s an old practice and I will explain what it is.

Grounding is act of putting the body in direct contact with the earth. It involves, for example walking barefoot on natural ground or earth. Itโ€™s about living in contact with the earth or ground .

It is believed that we build up a lot of Postive Energy from our stressful and modern lifestyle On the other hand The Earth is actually believed to be a source of beneficial negative energy.

Grounding now becomes a way through which we can counter the Postive charges we have built up in our bodies

When we walk barefooted on the ground such as grass or sand, there is will be a natural transfer of electric charge into our bodies from the earth /ground. The body is naturally able to absorb electrical charges from the earth since the skin acts like a โ€œconductor.โ€ Remember we are made from the earth .

So you will ask : is inflammation bad ? Yes and no.
There are 2 types of inflammation:
Acute and Chronic
Acute inflammation is normal and needed by the body . Itโ€™s the initial response of the body to harmful stimuli. Itโ€™s needed for healing when the body experiences trauma.

Chronic inflammation is when the body is continually experiencing inflammation and thatโ€™s not good for the body and can be a trigger for chronic disease.

Grounding has been shown to reduce inflammation in the body, which is linked to many chronic diseases including heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. The electrons / energy it releases into our bodies neutralises the horrible free radicals that cause inflammation.
