Having established the importance of Antioxidants, I must state that there are many types . Some are quite commonly known while others are not

๐ŸŽฏ ๐‘ฝ๐’Š๐’•๐’‚๐’Ž๐’Š๐’ ๐‘ช which is found in many fruit and vegetables like Bell peppers ๐Ÿซ‘( tatashe ) , Citrus , Kiwi. They neutralise free radicals . It prevents damage to our cell walls . I get mine from fruit and veg and powders of some fruits that arenโ€™t common like Acai berries , Rosehip , Amla , Camu camu . These contain the full natural vitamin C

๐ŸŽฏ ๐‘ฝ๐’Š๐’•๐’‚๐’Ž๐’Š๐’ ๐‘ฌ a fat soluble vitamin thatโ€™s made up of 8 components. Can be found in nuts , seeds and leafy vegetables. They protect our cell membranes from oxidative damage

๐ŸŽฏ ๐‘ฉ๐’†๐’•๐’‚-๐’„๐’‚๐’“๐’๐’•๐’†๐’๐’† a pre-cursor of Vitamin A. It can be found in orange , yellow and green fruit and vegetables . It acts as an antioxidant when itโ€™s uncovered to vitamin A

๐ŸŽฏ ๐‘บ๐’†๐’๐’†๐’๐’Š๐’–๐’Ž is a mineral and can be found in Brazil nuts , seafood and whole grains. It protects the cell membranes. Eating 2-4 a day will provide the right dose

Selenium and Vitamin E work together in partnership

๐ŸŽฏ ๐’๐’Š๐’๐’„ is a mineral which prevents fat oxidation . It also helps proper maintenance of vitamin E . Itโ€™s the ๐‘ฎ๐‘จ๐‘ป๐‘ฌ๐‘ฒ๐‘ฌ๐‘ฌ๐‘ท๐‘ฌ๐‘น of Immune function . So do you know your zinc levels
