Testimonials

Dear Mama Ope, thank you for drawing us out to take this challenge. Although I didn't journal daily as members of this challenge were to do, I have taken a number of delightful learnings, which will very well be a part of my lifestyle: I really enjoyed having infused water in the house, and I noticed it got me drinking more water than I normally would. This has come to stay. The challenge got me conscious of exactly what I was eating (or not eating) during the day. By late afternoon during this week, I would literally hear Mama Ope's voice in my head asking if I'd taken fruits or vegs that day 😆. That was really interesting I discovered the winning way of incorporating greens into my daily diet: rather than tey to do salads (which always ended up with the vegetables growing old in the fridge bcos I simply couldn't chop them up every day or 2 days and sometimes was just not in the mood for salads), I'd smoothy them, bottle them up and refrigerate them and take refreshing drinks over three or so days. That was a real hack for me! Through your daily posts, I accessed information that can bring about transformation the more my mind changes. I loved being a part of other members' challenge as they posted daily what they were eating, drinking, skipping, failing on and winning in. That was heart-warming. I like salad creams and French dressings and the like, so that's a difficult lifestyle change to take up, but this challenge has made me aware and mindful, so perhaps in the future, I'll adjust in that area. Overall, it was worth the time investment , so thank you, Coach Ope.

Thank you so much Mama Òpè for this challenge, I truly appreciate it. Even though I wasn't journaling daily as I would have loved, but this challenge has given me significant consciousness of committing myself to continuing the journey after these 21 days. Though I was also participating in the church’s corporate fast, I have made lots of notes and took away useful information from the video clips you've sent that I will be using after the fast. The good thing too is that I've been sharing this with my wife and children and we are using each other as accountability partners. My gym regime is also more stable and am more committed to daily walks. Over the last week, I have consistently made over 10K steps. Again, doing this with my family has been helpful. I am set to ensure I can attain my target weight over the next couple of months and then maintain it. I have seen real change in my weight and eating habit. The only area I need more commitment is in ensuring I can keep to required daily water intake especially infused water. Thank you once again Mama Òpé for reinforcing these lessons and I appreciate the take aways from those who have been sharing their experiences… it will form part of the lessons I’ll be incorporating into my commitment to weight loss.

I have found this journey to be incredibly rewarding. Working toward my weight goal has been a fulfilling experience, and seeing progress on the scale has been truly exciting! I've become more aware of my dietary choices, and I aim to maintain this and incorporate more vegetables into my meals significantly reducing my snacking. I started this journey weighing 82.3 kg, and I'm thrilled to share that I've reached 77.2 kg, with my target being 77 kg! This progress has made me feel accomplished I've always enjoyed walking and dancing, and I’m committed to making these activities part of my daily routine going forward, just as I have over the past 21 days. This experience has been truly impactful. For a long time, I struggled to lose the extra 5 kg on my own, but now I feel empowered to lose 2 kg more and maintain my weight at 75kg. Also, Now, I am more informed about fruits, vegetables, and detoxing. I also deeply appreciate the accountability and encouragement provided by our coaches. Thank you for your unwavering support, particularly in being available to answer questions and clarify information.

Over the past 21 days, I’ve discovered that achieving my healthy lifestyle and weight loss goals is absolutely within reach as long as I remain committed to the principles I’ve learned throughout this challenge. This experience has shown me that yes, I can do it! I now eat more mindfully and intentionally. This challenge has also sparked my creativity . I’ve learned to prepare a variety of healthy, delicious meals, especially using vegetables, salads, and smoothies. My mindset around food has completely shifted. In just 21 days, I’ve lost 4kg even without engaging in consistent exercise. I now plan my meals with purpose and discipline. I feel lighter, more energetic, and fully in control of my wellness journey. I am now 4kg ( from 126kg to 12kg) lighter than when I began I sleep deeply and wake up refreshed and I now enjoy 1 to 2 hours of restful afternoon naps (siestas) , something I never used to have! This challenge has been nothing short of transformative. The daily accountability and journaling helped me stay committed and reflective. Honestly, I’ve enjoyed it so much — I don’t want it to end! Thank you so much, Coach Ope Okulaja, for this life-changing experience.

My start weight was 129.5kg and now 125.6kg by the end of the challenge . That’s 4.1kg lost I used to eat a lot of basmati rice and other carbs. I also ate late at night. I now swap rice for healthy alternatives like ofada rice and quinoa. I have swapped garri for eggplant swallow. I have also incorporated lots of vegetables into my diet and fruits too. Green smoothies and healthy juices are taken daily. I am mindful of my eating times. I tried intermittent fasting for the first time and I have realised it is not impossible to do. I intend to do it often. I have realised that meal planning and meal preps are vital for my success. I hardly exercised, but now, I try to go for walks I intend to increase my steps/day and I am making arrangements for a portable treadmill so the weather does not stop me from reaching my set target steps. As I go on, I would include different forms of exercise. Previously, I could only sleep for 2-3hrs when I come home from a night shift. Now I can sleep for about six hours. I have been intentional with my bedroom. I changed the blinds to blackout curtains and I make sure I don't have chores waiting for me on those days. I also use the tapping technique to help me get back to sleep I am more relaxed, my mind is clearer and I am more focused. Apart from the food journal, I now have a gratitude journal. I take time to reflect on happenings around me and I manage stress quite well. The challenge has been so impactful. Everyone at home knows there's something different about me. I don't intend to stop. I now have a meal prep day and a day for making my Juices, smoothies and salads. My journey is a long one, but my mind is set and l know I can reach my goal if i remain consistent and committed. I would definitely recommend this to anyone

My Weight before the challenge was 207.4Ib and by Day 21, my weight was 200.4Ib I have embraced more healthy fruits and vegetables! Before I love sweet fruits but I changed now. I also portion my food now which is very good for me. My old exercise was 2% But now I exercise 6 days a week! Wow! This challenge has been very impactful for me I would gladly recommend it to anyone and I’m already talking about it with my friends!

My weight before the challenge was 82.3kg and now it’s 81kg I'll continue with the detox drink and smoothies. I'll also do the bone broth, KVASS and go back to eating more vegetables I like sugar in my coffee but it's beginning to taste funny so I'll start minimising till I can stop it altogether. I have done it before and can do it again The work I do is full of daily stresses and each day's stress can be different. Of late, I've decided to approach each stress point with calmness rather than reacting angrily I enjoyed the challenge very much and will continue with it. Initially, I was quite wary of reporting my progress openly in a group. I had never done anything like it before and felt both vulnerable and self conscious. However, I'm glad I did. As the saying goes, "All is well that ends well." I would definitely recommend this to anyone

I really needed this challenge to connect the knowledge to the desire. This challenge has opened up that neurological pathway for me. So, this is an outstanding outcome. I know what to start, stop, and continue My weight before the challenge was 74.00kg and now after the challenge , it’s 72.00kg. I lost 2kg Walking and stretching helped shift the excess I am not the vain type, but yesterday and today, a few people insisted on telling me I had lost weight. I also have stopped using foundation. My complexion is even and smooth.. I love that!!

During this 21 day challenge I have learnt that I have to eat more healthy as exercising alone cannot shed weight. So I have to eat more vegetables and fruit whilst still exercising and walking every day So I started eating more vegetables and salad I am excited that I have lost 2 kg This has been a useful experience for me, and I will continue as I have seen progress. I still have to lose 3kg. I will continue with my new diet. Thank you @Opeoluwa Health and Wellness

My weight before joining the 21 day challenge was 97.00kg and it was 93.40kg by the end of the challenge. I lost 3.6 kg I now eat healthy, incorporating smoothies & salads/vegetables to every meal. I am also conscious of detoxing. So I am using detox fruits for my smoothies and taking a lot of organic green tea. I am yet to start juicing. I need to buy a juicer. Soon. I am conscious of what exercises can do for me so I make sure I move everyday. However small the distance, I make sure I move. I am more knowledgeable about my body. I have more energy. I am more responsible towards myself. My clothes are big around the waist and hips. I will post my before & now pictures.
